The CDEA is a professional organization for community college professor teaching Child Development and Early Childhood Education in Texas.  The organization provides:

• Information including syllabi, teaching tips, funding options, weblinks to programs and resources, current legislation and advocacy efforts on behalf of early childhood education and networking opportunities

• Contact information for Child Development and Early Childhood Community College programs including websites, addresses, etc.

• Opportunities for collaboration through conferences, retreats, listserv and online discussions
